Idaho Transportation Department has hired three new transportation employees, including a driver for a new light rail system.
The Department of Labor and Economic Development says the jobs are for a variety of jobs in the transportation industry, including driver and dispatcher, as well as field manager and manager.
The job postings are for the new driver and field manager positions, and they pay $15.70 an hour.
The Idaho Department has also added two new drivers to its payroll, and the jobs pay $11.50 an hour, the same hourly wage as a dispatcher.
The new hires come as Idaho has seen a growing number of people using private vehicles to transport goods and people in the past year.
