A Delhi bus rider was fined Rs 2,000 by a Delhi police station after allegedly hitting a woman on a train.
The incident took place on September 20, 2017, around 10:00pm.
The incident took down a train in which three passengers were travelling in the morning.
“A female passenger was travelling on the train at the time, and she was standing at the platform.
She was approached by two men who took her away and allegedly slapped her on the back and legs, while telling her to sit down,” a senior officer said.
A woman was taken to a local hospital after the incident.
According to police, the victim and two other women were travelling on a private train when the accused man allegedly approached them and slapped them.
He was arrested later.
