K&s&%t Transportation is moving quickly to develop a self-parking, self-charging vehicle.
The automaker recently launched an autonomous vehicle research lab in Palo Alto, Calif., which the company says will be the first to drive on public roads.
The goal is to eventually use the technology to transport passengers and cargo between cities.
K&a&&t Transportation CEO Jim Langer said he sees the technology as “a great opportunity to drive our customers around the world” and will likely roll out autonomous vehicles in the next few years.
The company will test self-drive vehicles in California in 2018, and then roll out self-pilot capability in 2019 in Japan.
Kannan Jain, an analyst with Sanford C. Bernstein, said K&ing&s&ts&lt;&gt transportation is a leader in self-pedestrian transportation, and the company has been focused on self-motorization in general.
But Jain said that K&annan&ampt& t&he&* transportation is focusing on selfmotorized transportation because it wants to ensure it can meet its growing demand for autonomous vehicles.
“They are the only one of the auto manufacturers to be working on autonomous vehicles,” Jain told Business Insider.

Langer, who is also the CEO of Uber, said that self-racing cars would be very attractive for autonomous vehicle companies because they can drive from point A to point B at speeds of up to 200 miles per hour.
The vehicles can travel more quickly and safely than other vehicles, which is important, because in an emergency they can be the lifeline for people in need, he said.

The K&amm&ast&ot&h> transportation industry is not the only industry in which autonomous vehicles could potentially play a role in the transportation system.
Lorry manufacturers have also begun using self-driven cars in recent years.
In January, Ford Motor Company said it will begin testing a self driving car in 2019 that it hopes will be ready for commercial deployment in 2020.
The Ford car will be equipped with cameras that can capture video and analyze the car’s surroundings, and it will be able to analyze its surroundings to find its way.
Ford says the self-roving Ford F-150 pickup will be capable of autonomous driving at speeds up to 60 miles per minute, and that it will offer customers a range of different modes.
